Christina Shaver, Producer
Christina Shaver is an award-winning indie filmmaker from Chicago. She and Gertrude Abercrombie both have deep ancestral roots tied to Aledo, Illinois. The town inspired Gertrude’s art and has also inspired Christina’s filmmaking. Her most recent narrative feature, currently in its festival run, was set there.
Max Rasmussen, Associate Producer
Max Rasmussen is Chicago-based filmmaker and screenwriter. As a documentarian, he was selected by PBS as one of two producers to represent the state of Illinois in their American Portrait project. His work tends to gravitate towards themes of aging, the Midwest, fame, and the legacy we leave behind.
